I´m back
I´m not only back on the blog after 2 months but I was also back in Dubai after 4 months.
It was nice to be back this time as a tourist and not as a resident. All the things that annoy me about the place was easier to deal with when I knew that I´ll be out of the place within 2 weeks. It was also nice to explore the city with a new more positive attitude.
Spent 2 weeks staying at K´s place. I mostly only slept at the house beacuse days and evenings I spent around the city exploring and eating a lot. It´s very hard to stay away from all the food temptations around the city and it´s malls.
Used buses and metro as much as possible because I can´t stand the traffic in Dubai so I really hate driving there. I have to say that the metro and the upgraded bus network is some of the best things that has happened to Dubai in the last couple of years. When I first arrived in Dubai in 2005 I used the bus network as much as possible for the first year but it was very time consuming compared to this day.
The weather was nice. Shorts and flip flop weather during the day and a bit "chilly" during the night.
